He is survived by: his parents, Dan Runkel and Jackie Runkel (Thompson); his parent-in-law Stefanie Erwin; his son Daniel Michael Runkel; his siblings, Joseph Runkel of Mesa, AZ and Julie Runkel Page of Anchorage Alaska; his grandmother Marjorie Thompson Osseo Wi; and his aunt Rachel Woychik of Independence Wi. He is also survived by many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
