He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. David F. and Irene Witmer Siemens; and his wife Esther. He is survived by: his children, David F., III (Lesley) and Laurel Siemens Moore (John); and his sister Marilyn Lindquist (Oscar). He is also survived by three grandchildren and two step grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, one great great grandson.
