He was predeceased by: his son Jerry. He is survived by: his significant other Marilyn Adams; his daughter Annie Zerwas (Joe); and his grandchildren, Joe Zerwas III (Megan), John Zerwas (Amanda), Jodi Zerwas, Jimmy Moorehouse (Bea), Tyler, Brooke, Joey IV, Blake, Kalei and Lyssa.
