It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Michael Koontz (Mesa, Arizona), born in Alamosa, Colorado, who passed away on June 7, 2019, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ralph "Eldon" and Esther Ione "Tootie" [Muir]; his wife Donna Koontz; his children, Deena Commers (Tom) and Kevin Koontz (Nichole); his sister Karen McQuistion; and his grandchildren, Cayleen, Kolton, Blake, Jake, Cade and Wyatt. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
