He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ernest Vaterlaus and Virginia Vaterlaus; his wife Barbara Olsen Vaterlaus; and his children, Richard Vaterlaus (Gaye) of Gilbert Arizona, Stanford Vaterlaus (Susan) of Tucson Arizona, Ann Clark (Steve) of Mesa Arizona, Paul Vaterlaus (Betsy) of Mesa Arizona, Rebeccah Cannon (Keith) and Patricia Haynie (Kenneth) of Vail Arizona. He was also cherished by 34 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren and two foster daughters.
