She was predeceased by: her son Steven Jay Karsten; and her former husband Terry Allen Karsten. She is survived by: her husband Gary; her son David Karsten (Abby); her grandchildren, Estelle and Jonah Karsten; her brother Kenny Vanderpool; and her stepbrother Junior Simbro (Linda).
