He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Deshaies and Therese Deshaies (Beaudet). He is survived by: his wife Theresa L. Deshaies (Smith); his sons, Jason E. Deshaies (Shayna) of Smithfield and Keith Deshaies (Kelly) of Smithfield; his grandchildren, Zachary, Savannah and Jackson; and his siblings, Madeleine Bissonnnette of Hummelstown, PA, Jeanne Brennan of Woonsocket and Richard Deshaies of Florida.

In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, Po Box 50, Memphis, TN 38101-0050.
