He was predeceased by: his son Gregory Bittner; his siblings, Alvin Bittner (Catherine) and Helen Bittner Schottenbauer (Nick); his daughters-in-law, Dorothy Kasperick Bittner and Linda Scott Bittner; and his grandson Dwight Baker IV.

He is survived by: his brothers, Kenneth Bittner (Josie) and Leo Bittner (Lillian). He is also survived by Two grandsons, three granddaughters, two great granddaughters & two great grandsons.
