She was predeceased by: her parents, Christopher Hurd and Susie K Hurd; her husband John; her daughter Donna Lou; her granddaughter Brandi Pennington; and her siblings, Lillie Ferguson, Thelma Spicer, Mary Clark, Hallie Smith, Harrison and Robert Hurd.
She is survived by: her brother-in-law Thomas Clark; and her children, Deborah Flood (Marvin) of Arizona, Damita Armstead (Kim) of Arizona, John (Karen) of Arizona and Ranae Dabney of Cleveland, OH. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
