She was predeceased by: her parents, Mattie Irene Sheppard and William Frank Sheppard; her husband Allan Dale Thompson Sr.; her grandson David Allan Samson; and her sister Marian Sheppard.
She is survived by: her children, Allan Dale, Jr., Jeffery Jay and Karen Irene; her siblings, Frank Sheppard (Ella) of San Diego, CA, Dwight Sheppard of Conowingo, MD and Irene Trego of Atlanta, GA; her grandchildren, Jacob Thompson, Allan Thompson and Shawn Thompson; and her great grandchildren, Maycee Thompson, Zoey Thompson and Bryson Thompson. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
