He is survived by: his parents, Jesus Mendivil and Mary Celaya Mendivil; his brothers, Robert Mendivil and Al Mendivil; his son David Edward Mendivil; his great grandchild Jacen Cain Lopez; his wife Alice Contreras Mendivil; his children, Debi, Greg, Steven Mendivil, Ed Gonzales, Jenny Pence and Christine Mendivil; his sisters, Ophelia Hermosillo and Lottie Dominguez; and also Angel Alicia Mendivil. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, 8 great, great grandchildren.
