He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Fernando C. Lucero and Eva Lucero; his wife Gloria; his children, Lisa Fernandez (Dodge), Ben Lucero (Roseanne), Lucas Lucero (Stacie), Erik Lucero (Niomi) and Grampy; his siblings, Vangie Yanez (Norbert), Edward Lucero (Sandy), Esther Francis (Dave), Carmen Salcido (Danny) and Mary Lucero; and his siblings-in-law, Rufino Rodriguez (Alicia), Johnny Rodriguez (Bobbi), Debbie Munden (Jim) and Sam Rodriguez (Norma). He was also cherished by 19 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
