He was predeceased by: his parents, Ana Covarrubias and Hipolito Covarrubias; and his siblings, Johnny, David Covarrubias and Susie Sesma (Raymond).
He is survived by: his wife Anna Covarrubias; his children, Lindi Covarrubias (Ali) and Anthony Covarrubias; his brothers, Gilbert Covarrubias (Starr) and Rey Covarrubias (Cathy); his sister-in-law Terry Covarrubias; and his siblings' children, Mary Esther Rodriguez, Adela Sesma, Melissa Cluff, Raymond Sesma, Michael Covarrubias, Mark Covarrubias, Matthew Covarrubias and Reynaldo Covarrubias.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to the American Cancer Society in Roy's honor.
