It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Fred Lyon (Mesa, Arizona), who passed away on July 16, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George Albert Lyon and Edna Caroline Berrett; his siblings, Sterling Richard, Anna Beth, Roland George, Myra and Maxine Evelyn; his wife Rita Kay Grant; his sister Kathleen; and his children, Gary Grant (Jill Louise), Richard Roland (Stephanie Kay), Rita Ann (Edwin Munoz), Pamela Kay (Jeffrey Webb Crockett), Leisann Joi (Derrick Jon Dickerson) and Howard Van (Shari Elle). He was also cherished by 34 grandchildren, including spouses, and 16 (soon to be 17) great-grandchildren.
He had a strong foundation in architecture and design and was always designing something new for his house and yard.
