He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Schlitter and Evelyn Schlitter; his brother Willard Schlitter; and his granddaughter Margaret Carole Schlitter. He is survived by: his wife Carole Shepard; his children, Cindy (Mike), Darren (Stephanie) and Amy (Rich); and his sister Shirley Strub.
