He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob R. Hayduk Sr. and Helen Krupczak; and his sisters, Sylvia Lewis and Irene Jordan. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn F. Hayduk; his children, Richard J. Hayduk, Thomas J. Hayduk, Linda P. Sura (Hayduk) and Joseph A. Hayduk; his grandchildren, Lauren, Michael, Haleigh, Nicholas, Kaitlyn and Jacob Sura; and his sister Francis Glessing.
