He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Novotny and Agnes Novotny; and his siblings, Helen and Tony. He is survived by: his wife Lorraine of Valentine's Day; his children, Jim (Debi), Mike (Kim), Brian (Stephanie) and Jeannie (Carl); and his brothers, Jerry Novotny, Dave (Sandy) and Frank (Gayle). He is also survived by eight grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Jim's memory can be made to St. Vincent de Paul.
