He is survived by: his wife Caroline Arndt; his daughters, Karna Opeka (Bob) of Libertyville, IL, Cathryn Virnig (Rod) of Golden Valley, MN and Kristin Lawatsch (Eric) of Neenah, WI; his grandchildren, R. J., Natalie Opeka, Dan, Ryan, Nate Virnig, Jordyn, Jared, Jenna and Brady Lawatsch; his great grandchildren, Emilia, Carter Opeka and Maya Virnig; and his brothers, William Whitney, Jr. (Bernice) of Delavan and Roger Whitney (Diane) of Winnebago. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends.
