She was predeceased by: her parents, James Hunter and Ruth Hunter; her godparents, William and Gertrude Hougardy (Friedrich Straub); and her godson Michael Straub.
She is survived by: her wife Erika; her son Jacob; her sister Kathleen Hunter; her brother-in-law Art Leyenberger; her friend Ulrike Straub; her cousins, Jacqueline Dukes Mueller, Virginia Dukes Marconi and Amy Mueller (Charity Randall); and also, Eric, Michael and Gabriel Randall. She is also survived by 20 cats.
