He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Rennes and Ann Van Rennes (Van Leeuwen); and his sister Judy Fluegge. He is survived by: his wife Geneva Van Rennes (Allbee); his children, Pete Heinz (Bill Wheeler), Geri DeWaard (Matt) and Scott Van Rennes; his grandchildren, Nathanial, Kelsi and Kenzie; his brother-in-law Larry Fluegge; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Aaron, Chase and Hailey.

Donations to the Cancer Research Institute (55 Broadway, Suite 1802, New York, NY 10006) can be made in lieu of flowers.
