He was predeceased by: his parents, James Peters and Donna Peters; his wife Laura Kalsow; his sister Jan Mendez (Tony); and his father-in-law Ralph Kalsow.

He is survived by: his daughter Kelsey Peters of Chandler, AZ; his brothers, John Peters (Kris), Jason Peters (Michelle) of Avondale, AZ and Jim Peters of Seattle, WA; his brothers-in-law, Robert Kalsow (Deanne) of Broomfield, CO and Rick Kalsow (Suzi) of Arnolds Park, IA; and his mother-in-law Edna Kalsow of Moorhead, MN. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
