It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Vande Steeg (Mesa, Arizona), born in Jefferson, Iowa, who passed away on March 4, 2018, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Diane; his sons, Steven (Janice) of Bermuda Dunes and David (Julie) of Pella; his grandchildren, Kelsey and Davis; and his brother Russell (Sharon) of Orange City.

In lieu of flowers, the family will be donating memorials to Northwestern College to help reduce the cost of tuition for future students.
