He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Mester and Marianne Mester (Alber); his parents-in-law, Paul and DoraLee; and his niece Danielle Marie Pisterzi.
He is survived by: his wife Deborah A. Mester (Ehrhart); his children, Kerrie A. Manak (Stephen) and Kyle A. E. Mester (Kyla Baker); his grandchildren, SJ Manak, Logan Manak, Kacen Baker-Mester, Cecilia Manak and Hunter Mester; his sisters, Barbara M. and Stephanie J. Pisterzi (Frank); his sister-in-law Pamela M. Pasch (late Keith L.); and his siblings' children, Rebecca Firlit, Nicole Palencia (Scott), Collin Pasch (Katherine) and Iain Pasch.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory are preferred.
