He is survived by: his wife Donna Reedy; his children, Darren Cole (Marie) of San Jose, California and Monica Campbell (Lance) of Champaign; his siblings, Marcella Binder of Sullivan, Kay Kearney of Lovington, Jim Cole (Bonnie) of Sullivan, Danny Cole of Cameron, Ron Shain (Lavonne) of Mesa, Charles Shain (Betty) of Mattoon and Jim Shain (Dorothy) of Centralia; his grandchildren, Hunter Cole of Boulder Creek, Dylan Cole of Watsonville, California and Solara Campbell of Champaign; and his stepgrandson Robert McClaflin of Santa Barbara, California..
Due to the pandemic, a private burial will be held at Greenhill Cemetery, Sullivan, which will be officiated by Rev. Dave Dolan, will be livestreamed for family and friends to virtually attend.
