He was predeceased by: his parents, George Alma Bond and LaPrele Maeser Bond; his wife Genevra Nelson Bond; and his siblings, Marian Mulkins, Karl Bond, Paul Bond and Joyce Leavitt.

He is survived by: his children, Kent Bond, Diana Glenn (Dan) and Sharon Freeman (Matthew); his grandchildren, Kimberly Buchannan (Ty), Nathan Glenn and Jacob Glenn; and his great grandchild Everly Buchannan. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and sisters-in-law.
