He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lester Humphrey and Helen Humphrey; his wife Nancy; his children, Jerry Humphrey (Norma Sponcel) and Shawn Humphrey James (Scott James); his granddaughter Emma Humphrey (Matt Ishikawa); and his siblings, Tony Humphrey (Dixie), Norm Humphrey (Tricia), David Humphrey (Connie), Mike Humphrey, Denny Humphrey and Marilyn Nelson (Larry). He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family wishes donations be made in Larry's name to the Alzheimer's Association.
