Tiffany Bartek wrote a sympathy message

“This is my grandfather....here is a better glimpse of who he really was.... Lovay Elmer "Mike" Kimnach died on Sunday, August 13, 2017, in Mesa, Arizona, at the age of 93. Mike was an insurance agent in Council Bluffs, Iowa, for Prudential for many years and retired from Prudential. Before Prudential, Mike worked for Sears & Roebuck; had driven a beer truck for a few years; and he was a skilled mechanic. He loved cars and used to own a Lincoln Zephyr and a classic 1954 or '55 Ford or Chevy. Mike was an avid deer hunter, with bow and arrow. He "got his deer" for many years. Mike was a great joke teller and family card player. Mike was born on March 24, 1924, in Lakeport, Woodbury County, Iowa. He grew up around Sloan, Iowa, later moving to Omaha, Nebraska, and Council Bluffs, Iowa. He was predeceased by his parents, Philip Franklin Kimnach and Sena Rita (Kage) Kimnach; his wife Ruth "Boots" (Pritchard) Kimnach; and his siblings: Margaret, Philip, Mae, Marie, and triplets Floyd, Lloyd, and Boyd Kimnach. Mike is survived by his sons: Michael Allen Kimnach Sr.; Gary Lovay (Marge) Kimnach; Larry Ray (Carol) Kimnach; Terry Lee Kimnach; and Tracy Lynn (Cindy) Kimnach; plus many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.”
