He is survived by: his parents, Richard Allan Gardner and Zilpha Diana Nielsen; his wife Rebecca "Becky"; his children, Joshua Logan and Tylee Mabel; and his siblings, Doug (Maria), Jeff (Lizeth), Randall (Jennifer), Tiffany (Wes Gilmore), Gary (Heidi) and Corrianne (Nathan Coons).
