He is survived by: his wife Aurora Rodriguez; his granddaughter Lauren Michelle Kendrick; his sister Mary Jane; and his children, Francisco Alaniz, Odilia Alaniz, Anita Alaniz, Manuel Alaniz Jr., Eva Lefebvre, Cynthia Ann Kean, Theresa Wiles and Mary Margaret Alaniz. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
