She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Sandway and Imogene Sandway; her sister Carol Otting; her daughter Christine Messmer; and her son-in-law Alan Zimmerman.
She is survived by: her husband Ronald Messmer; her children, Cindy Zimmerman (Messmer), Mark Messmer (Gabby) and Rodney Messmer (Michelle); her grandchildren, Heather Whitworth (Bingham), Julie Bingham, Danielle Messmer and Cecil Stacher; and her great grandchildren, Ella Whitworth, Cole Whitworth, Chase Whitworth, Logan Whitworth and Ethan Bingham.
