She was predeceased by: her parents, Oris Ticknor and Edna Ticknor; her husband Robert C. Smith; and her son Robert Jr.. She is survived by: her children, John Smith (Donna), Janet Compton and Carol Miller of California. She is also survived by 2 grandsons, 4 granddaughters, 4 great grandsons, and 2 great granddaughters.
