It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Saggio (Mesa, Arizona), born in Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on January 12, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Cono Scaffidi and Rosa Spinella; her son Salvatore; and her siblings, Giuseppina Fava, Joseph Scaffidi and Leonard Scaffidi.
She is survived by: her husband Carmelo; her children, Josephine Cusma-Piccione (Antonino) of Gioiosa Marea, Sicily, Rosa Stong (Danny) of Racine, WI, Dina Girdaukas (James) of Sheboygan, WI, Lina Cicero (Santino) of Milwaukee, WI and David Saggio (Eva) of Seattle, WA.; her grandchildren, Michael Cicero (Andra) of Milwaukee, WI, Marcello Cusma (Belma) of Mount Juliet, TN, Steven Cicero (Kayley) of Milwaukee, WI, Ed Girdaukas of Sheboygan, WI, Nick Stong of Macomb, Maria Maldonado (Kelvin) of Brookfield, WI, Matthew Stong of Milwaukee, WI and Isabella Saggio of Seattle, WA.; her great grandchildren, Ema and Andy; and her siblings, Cono Scaffidi (Josephine) of Mesa, AZ, Catherine Magovero of Baltimore, MD, Rose Spinella of Glassboro, NJ and Sara Seraino of Gioiosa Marea. She is also survived by many other relatives including sister-in-laws, brother-in-law, nieces and nephews, their spouses and children.
