He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice Riley Taylor and Rosabel Taylor; his former wife Ruby McLaws; his siblings, Richard "Dick" and Marie Brewer; his children, Jerry Taylor and Charlene Carr; and his great grandchild Lucas Losey.

He is survived by: his former wife Marilyn Wosniak; his sister Pat; his wife Jane Taylor; and his children, Daryl Taylor (Jean), Darlene Goodwin (late Mike), Kete Smith, Yolonna Foy and Arlon Smith (Paula). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, and 33 great grandchildren.
