He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Hays and Jean Hays; and his granddaughter Fiasia Perry. He is survived by: his wife Karen Hays; his children, Christina Perry (Stephen) and Cassie Hays; and his sister Kathleen Buchanan. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; 10 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.
