He was predeceased by: his parents, Nels Ihle and Nella Ihle; his former wife Dorothy Jean (Sheldahl); and his brothers, Kenneth, Mervin and Otis.
He is survived by: his wife Rowena Ihle (Richardson); his children, David Ihle (Sharon) of Woodbury, MN, Richard Ihle (Debi) of Chandler, AZ and Jean Ihle of Mesa, AZ.; his stepchildren, Cathy Kjellsen (Ron) of Kerens, TX and Bruce Heyerdahl of Austin, Texas.; his grandchildren, Joshua Ihle of Elmwood, WI, Amanda Root (Matt) of San Francisco, CA, Allison Dozbaba (Collin) of Chandler, AZ and Alena Hicks (Andy) of Phoenix, AZ.; and his close friends, Dorothy and Rowena.
