He was predeceased by: his parents, Palmer Tveten and Ida Tveten (Wastvedt); and his siblings, Omer, Art, Waldo, Joyce, Melba, Eve and Arlene.

He is survived by: his children, Jeri Slocum (Robert) of Tucson, AZ, Jon (Jane) of Redlands, CA, Wendy Jacobson (Calvin) of Rutland, ND and Lori Gutenberg (Arlan) of Rio Rancho, NM; his sister Laurie Futterman of Palm Springs, CA; and also, Carol and Tony. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren.
