He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Gilbert and Helen Smith; and his wife Barbara Smith. He is survived by: his brother Jack Smith (Donna); his children, Larry Smith (Susan) and Randi Rich; his brother-in-law Howard Mitchell (Benita); and his grandchildren, Jeremy Rich, Jessi Rich, Jana Rich, Jonathan Rich, Field Smith and Aubri Smith-Lazenby. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
