With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rebecca Lira (Mesa, Arizona), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 18, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Manuel De Jesus; and her son Manuel Arturo. She is survived by: her sister Godelva; her children, Sonia Sherwood (Scot), Renee Moody (Don), Angelica Troutman (Rocky), Rebecca Anderson (Scott) and Artemio Lira (Jessica); her grandchildren, Jamie, Jason, Justin, Jakob, Kristela, Olivia, Hannah, Caleb, Marisa, Arcenia, Jesse, Mariah, Brandon, Zachary, Dominic and Alycia; and her great grandchildren, Declan, Imogen, Ryker, Cruz, Jett, Kayson, Christian, Baby Peach, Adeline, Lucy, Oliver, Stella, Jay, River, Emma, Storm, Hudson, Jaxon, Harper and Emily.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Queen of Heaven Catholic Funeral Home (1562 E Baseline Rd, Mesa, AZ 85204). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery (1562 E Baseline Rd, Mesa, AZ 85204).
