With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Ann (Giammanco) Strauss in Mesa, Arizona, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on June 24, 2020 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Giammanco and Ruth Olive Giammanco. She is survived by: her husband Barry Richard Strauss; her children, Patricia Drummond (David Sr.), Mary Spooner (Dan), Carol Tackman (Charlie) and Richard Strauss (Mariann); her brother-in-law Robert Strauss; her grandchildren, Sabrina, David Jr., Derek, Leeza, Tommy, Steven, Joey, Michael, Matthew and Tatum; her great grandchildren, Olivia, Emilia and Zoey; and her siblings, Mary, Pierre and Frank.
In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, where Ruth had a soft spot, would be greatly appreciated.
