She was predeceased by: her parents, William Hendricks and Dolores Hendricks (Crimmins); her brother Bob Hendricks (Kathy) of Tama, IA; her parents-in-law, Mason and Florine Cate (Roussel); her daughter Danielle Cate; her brothers, Don Hendricks, Terry Hendricks and Ronald; her sister-in-law Mary Cate; her sister Nancy; her brother-in-law Rollin Duensing; her nephews, David Hendricks, Chris Young and Terry Hunt; and her niece Anna Weitz.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Cate; her friends, Euchre, Hand and Foot; her sons, Jeff (Javier Pedraza) of Dubuque, Mike (Kari) of Blanco, TX and Tim (Shelly) of Argyle, TX; her grandchildren, Nikita, Michaela, Gabriella, Daniel and Cooper; her great grandchild Khloe; her sisters, Janet Young (John) of Dubuque, Sheila Walsh (John) of Dubuque and Mary Jo Klinkhammer (Jerry) of Dubuque; and her siblings-in-law, Jay Cate (Dawn) of Honey Creek, IA, Carol Boland (Fritz) of Boscobel, WI, Brenda Naser of Fort Calhoun, NE, Valerie Roll of Marion, IA and Karen Scheckel of Dubuque.
