He is survived by: his wife Vondell Phillips Butler; his children, Linda Hemphill, Greg Butler and Mark Butler (Lisa); his granddaughter Wendy Butler-Sanchez (David); and his great grandchildren, Kylee, Nate Sanchez, Blake, Cody Butler, Leon Magness, Shane Hemphill and Jocelyn Gillis.
