He was predeceased by: his wife Sarah Shumpert. He is survived by: his brother Robert A. Shipman of Mesa, Arizona.; his children, Elizabeth, Dorothy Ritter (John), Jimmy and Thomas, Jr.; his grandsons, Jesse Ritter (Tara), Greg Ritter and Blake Shipman; and his great grandchildren, Bradley and Cameron Ritter.
Due to COVID protocols, the family has elected to not have a visitation or service at this time.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association or to the Wounded Warrior Project in his honor.
