He was predeceased by: his parents, Darrell Garner and Betty Garner; his siblings, Leslie Garner and Rosemary Steele; and his granddaughter Brynnehilda Lynn Pedersen.
He is survived by: his wife Cherri Lynn Garner (Gale); and his children, Jim Garner (Lucy), Erin, Kelly, Lindsey, Luke, Christi Garner, Suzanne Ruesch (T. J.), Trista, Whitney, Thomas, Wesley, Katharine Garner and Vanessa Pedersen (Jon). He is also survived by five children and ten beautiful grandchildren.
