He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Georgia Alice Vosburgh and James Leford "Lefty" Lawson; his wife Shannon Dawn (Raley); his daughters, Stacey LaVelle Stanislav Young (John), Sandra Dee Shurling (Henry) and Kimberly Dawn Temple (Marc); his siblings, Bonnie Joan Johannsen (Lawson), Dennis Jay Lawson (Dennise) and Betty Ann Ball (David); his grandchildren, Katharine LaVelle Stanislav, Meagan Taylor Young, Benjamin Thomas Stanislav, Bryan Connor Young, Lawson Shurling, Ava Shurling and Mackenzie Cameron Temple; his former wife Judith Kaye Lawson (Tranter); his stepfather William Philip Bernbach; his brother Clifford Aylward Lawson; his grandson Tristen Caleb Grundey; his niece Alice Elizabeth Chapman (Smith); and his brother-in-law Raymond Don Johannsen. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
