He was predeceased by: his wife Kathie; his son Larry Masters; his sister Mary; his brother-in-law Bob Colbert; and his nephew Bill Colbert.

He is survived by: his children, Rick Masters (Mary Lou), Marilyn McLean (Brian), Chris Masters-Moore (Walt), Terri Smith (Ron), Sharon Meeks (Ron), Mike Masters (Linda) and Matt Masters; his nephews, Bob and Denny; and his niece Adele. He is also survived by 17 Grandchildren, numerous Great Grandchildren.
