He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jacob Van Duyne and Eula Van Duyne; his wife Elaine Van Duyne; his sons, William Van Duyne, Jr. and Andrew Van Duyne; and his grandchildren, Robert Page, Dylan Page, Elaina Van Duyne, Andrea Van Duyne (Addy) and Theodore Van Duyne.
