He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Casillas and Joaquina Casillas; and his brothers, Robert, Rudo, Manuel, Dickie and Tony.
He is survived by: his wife Theresa Casillas; his children, Lorraine Esparza, Terry Casillas, Ruben Casillas Jr., Joe Casillas and James Casillas; and his sisters, Lupe Madrid and Helen Saucedo. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
