He is survived by: his wife Jo Cole; his daughters, Sonia Turman and Brenda Whorton of Bakersfield, Calif.; his stepson Robert Lacy of Pinnacle, N. C.; and his siblings, Ayzle Laird of Ukiah, Calif. and Byron Cole of Sallisaw, Okla.. He is also survived by three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
