He was predeceased by: his parents, James E. Grohusky, Sr. and Mary H. Thompson. He is survived by: his significant other Halina Grohusky (Ratuszynski); his daughters, Gretchen Mikesic (Michael), Lisa Grohusky and Jamie Grohusky; and his grandchildren, Malorie Mikesic, Kyle Fisher (Karli), Thomas Fisher (Tiffany), Asher Mikesic, Amanda Enloe (Blackie), Connor Mason, Hannah Mason and Tyler Mikesic. He is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Patrick's Catholic Church (1086 N 94th St, Kansas City, KS 66111). A Mass will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Mount Calvary Cemetery (1150 N 38th St, Kansas City, KS 66102).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Liver Foundation, American Heart Association, or American Diabetes Association.
