It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anna Marie McDowell (Phoenix, Arizona), born in Madison, Illinois, who passed away on March 6, 2020, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Carlson and Anna Carlson; her siblings, John Carlson, Raymond Carlson and Mary Tanase (Lawrence E. McDowell); and her son Joseph T. McDowell.
She is survived by: her son Mark McDowell (Marsha) of Phoenix, AZ; her daughter-in-law Linda McDowell of Collinsville, IL; her great grandchildren, Alex, Hana, Shota, Tyler, Jared, Cassie, Anna, Aaron, Madisyn and Jackson; and her great great grandchild Mackenzie. She is also survived by 5 Grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family is asking that. Memorial donations be made in Anna's name to Wounded Warriors Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8516 or to Hospice of the Valley, 16117 N. 76th St., Scottsdale, AZ.
